What A great Start!
St. Mary School is off to an amazing start of the 2022-2023 school year. Our enrollment is 114 students, which is a remarkable increase, and we have many new faces. In addition to all the new families, we have added Mrs. Alyssa Boyce as an aide in Pre-K, Mrs. Caitlin Harting as the kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Jennifer True co-teaching in first grade and second grade, Mrs. Mandi Hardy as the third grade Math teacher, Mrs. An-drea McGraw is teaching fifth grade and sixth grade as well as music to all classrooms, and Mrs. Tina McKin-ney as the cook.
There are also many new improvements to our school. Pre-k, third grade, and fourth grade all have new Math programs. They joined K-2 with Bridges in Mathematics as those grades very well received this program. We were fortunate enough to begin a STEM room through Title funding. All students will use this room in Septem-ber, and they will learn through application. I am in the process of applying for a grant to improve this room, and I am hopeful that I will be able to get many new pieces specifically for that room.
Our PTO generously ap-proved three additional Clear Touch boards to be used throughout the school. We are blessed to start this school year in a more “normal” fashion, and the students are adjusting well.
Please continue to pray for our enroll-ment, the health of our students and staff, and that we successfully carry out the mission of instilling a deter-mined work ethic, sound moral compass, and a deep love of Jesus.
our thoughts and prayers.

St. Mary school is happy to announce that we have 105 students pre-registered for the 2022-2023 Academic Year. With only four students graduating form eighth grade, most of our students are returning this fall!
This outstanding growth in student registrations is a direct result of the tireless dedication so many people have given to St. Mary School. The facility and staff have a personal commitment to the academic and spiritual development of our students.
Our PTO has reported record support of all of our activities.
Finally, a big thanks goes to the parishioners of St. Mary and St. Lawrence Parishes who have a deep commitment Catholic education. You are the reason young parents choose St. Mary’s when it is time to educate their children.
